Situated just off of Hanson Road at Woodville Gardens, Hanson Reserve Playground is part of a larger reserve with a football / soccer ground in the middle with a velodrome around the outside for cycling.

The equipment is excellent being modern with plenty of variety. The two stand out pieces of equipment are the huge red slide and the large flying fox. Also features a swing set, spinner, nest swing, rope pyramid, seesaw, rocker, fireman's pole and a small climbing structure.

Parking is on street mostly however you should have no problems finding a park with the streets being generally quiet, there is a small carpark to the south if you don't mind a small walk the the playground. Toilets are also located on the western corner.

Elevated looking over the playground is an undercover BBQ area complete with picnic benches.
